Logo and Sales Brochure for the Paddock
Referrals are always fantastic, especially when they come from a trusted partner like Galloways Print, who we rebranded a 3 years ago. So when we got the call about one of their existing clients who were looking for someone who could help with the design of property sales brochure.
Abode Property Developments are a small but exceptional property developer with a growing reputation and brand throughout the North West and Cheshire. The issue they were having with their sales brochures is that they didn’t really sell how good Abode’s new build properties were. This was largely down to the brochure design just not reflecting their own brand and this of quality.
They had previously had their brochures printed by Galloways so when they asked for help, we were called up.
An initial meeting in Poynton was followed by a presentation demonstrating how we would approach the brochure design and how they could best market this new development.
The first issue we identified was that the previous brochures marketed the business rather than the lifestyle people buy when the commit to a high end property. So we decided, as added value to the project. to create the development’s very own brand logo. This would make marketing the development easier and appeal to the emotion of any prospective buyer.
With the logo in the bag, the next stage was really about creating a tone in the design. So using subtle greens and warm accent colours, married with a leafy ‘graphic’ device, and a mix of a serif and sans serif typographic pairing, we had the makings of a beautifully designed piece.
Going to a square format allowed us to have a 6 page cover, and a reveal, to entice the reader into the brochure. Local interest pages were followed by property specific sections. All easy on the eye with plenty of room for the CGI renders of the soon to be build homes being given plenty of room to breathe.
