What’s your favourite project you’ve worked on at Think so far?
Probably the Radcliffe Library coworking space rebrand. It was one of those projects that really felt like a team effort from the start. The final identity was made up of ideas from lots of different people, one person’s naming idea was chosen, someone else’s logo concept, another person’s typography direction, and it all came together to create something really strong. It was great to see how everyone’s contributions shaped the final brand.
I’ve also loved working on the SB Labs rebrand. It was actually the first branding project I got involved with when I joined the team, so it will always stand out for me. I was so excited when my logo design was chosen as the preferred route, and it was really interesting to watch the whole rebrand develop from start to finish. Seeing everything come together, from the brand identity through to the website design and development, was a brilliant experience and gave me a real insight into the full branding process.
Have you always wanted to be a designer?
No, lol, I wanted to be a popstar.
Just kidding hehe, I’ve always been drawn to storytelling and originally studied Film and Media Studies at university. It wasn’t until my first role after graduating, working as a social creative, that I started to develop a real appreciation for branding and the role design plays in shaping how people connect with a brand.
That interest led me to study a Master’s in Graphic Branding and Identity at UAL, and I’ve been working as a designer ever since. What I love most about branding is the combination of strategy, creativity and storytelling. Every brand has a unique story to tell, and I enjoy uncovering those insights and bringing them to life in a way that feels meaningful and connects with people.
Do you think loving puzzles helps you as a designer?
Definitely! I love doing jigsaws, and I think they help with the analytical side of design. As much as design is a creative profession, a lot of it is actually about problem-solving. Whether it’s working out the best layout, refining a user journey, or making lots of different elements work together, there are often challenges that feel a bit like solving a puzzle.
I think doing jigsaws has definitely helped me develop the patience and attention to detail that design often requires. Sometimes the creative part comes quickly, but other times you’re working through complex layout decisions or trying to find the right balance between aesthetics and functionality. Those moments can feel surprisingly mathematical, so having a puzzle-loving brain definitely comes in handy
What does your ideal weekend look like?
Honestly, hanging out with my mum. She’s my favourite person ever and any time that I get to spend with her is my favourite. 😊
If she’s busy, I love catching up with friends, going out for food and trying new coffee spots in town – I’m a big foodie. I also love going out for music and a dance with friends. I’m always up for a good boogie.
I’m also happiest when I get a few uninterrupted hours to read. My weekdays can be quite busy, so having the time to read a couple hundred pages of my current book would be my ideal weekend.
If you could design for any brand in the world, who would it be?
Maybe not a brand, but my dream project would be designing for a museum or art gallery. I think the variety would be so much fun, from creating the overall identity to designing for different exhibitions, events and installations. Every exhibition has its own story to tell, so there would be endless opportunities to experiment and create something new while still keeping everything connected to a larger brand.
