Challenging brand perception wins the pitch for Venom IT

After challenging brand perception, Think won a competitive pitch to work with Venom IT. The company is an award winning and ambitious Manchester based IT provider who specialise in IT support and Cloud Services.

Originally a website redesign brief, Think quickly identified the need to revisit the brand proposition if Venom were to achieve their ambition to break away from purely wholesale and become a B2B Retailer – it was this approach that won us the work.

Venom IT was established by siblings Becki & Steven Powell in their family garage in Sale, Manchester back in 2009. Since then, they have managed to grow their business to a team of over 20 technicians and engineers. The team works hard to maintain a positive and innovative company culture that retains a family feel as they grow.

Think love working with progressive companies that are underpinned with strong values. It’s even better when they are family-run, as are Think! Venom also understands the value of great design as well as the return it can bring to the business. We think they are a dream client!

Paul Grogan, MD of Think, said: “Venom IT is going through an exciting period of its already award-winning history. We are so happy to be able to join the next part of its journey.”

Jonathan Hunt, Digital Marketing Manager at Venom IT added: “We were really impressed with how Think challenged us to broaden our brief, rethinking our brand perception and visual identity. They demonstrated the tangible benefits that could be achieved if we trusted them with this wider brief.”

The project has been kick started and we have just completed the audience research stage that will inform the brand identity development.

To which Jonathan fed back: “I must say this work is exemplary! A lot of work has been clearly put into this. I have no doubt that it will have a very big and positive impact on Venom IT’s next chapter!”

We are really excited to move to the next stage in the evolution of the Venom IT brand – watch this space!
