Lyfesure is an insurance company with a difference. It was founded in Manchester with a clear personal mission. The startup set out to educate young professionals and families about the importance of future planning. Importantly, it aimed to do this without the stress or stigma often linked to life insurance.
In early 2019, Managing Director Jonathon approached Think for support. He asked us to develop a new brand identity, logo and website that could reflect this fresh approach. After an energising and collaborative kickoff, our team created something bold, modern and approachable.
Brand identity and logo design
We began by creating a visual identity that was welcoming, bright and relaxed, built around the idea that life insurance can be “a reason to smile.” This concept inspired the chosen logo design, where the letter ‘u’ doubles as a friendly, smiling face.
Website design and rollout
The new brand style was rolled out across a bespoke WordPress website, with the smile device from the logo playing a central role in the visual language. It appeared in hero messaging, iconography and supporting graphics, reinforced by a vibrant colour palette and bold imagery. To strengthen the identity further, we developed a suite of custom icons representing each of Lyfesure’s services.
Optimised for users and SEO
As with all our websites, Lyfesure’s platform was designed to be fully mobile responsive with fast load times. Crucial for user experience and SEO performance.
