QBASE faced a number of challenges as a result of business growth, which is primarily achieved through customer base proliferation, additional technical partners and an increase in personnel.
They had a desire to retain and grow their existing customer portfolio and to expand into new markets. Growth from the already established relationship with ‘not for profit’ organisations was key, as is retaining and growing their presence in retail, sporting arenas and more generally in national B2B markets.
The existing website didn’t communicate anything well and visually looked very dated, so we were looking at a complete web design and user experience overhaul in order to meet their needs.
We started by understanding how best to channel their key audiences to the right section of the website. With 6 key personas to manage, we created a user journey map alongside the site map. This enabled multiple channels for users to find their way to the content they would typically be looking for.
Gated key content required the user to fill out a short form to get access. This triggered an enquiry in Zoho, QBASEs CRM system, integrated seamlessly to the website.
Without much brand identity to work with, we developed the visual style that set a professional tone and worked incredibly hard with the underlying concept we developed.
The data they work with isn’t theirs. It’s the clients. The concept was Your Data… Saved, or Your Data… Rescued, Your Data… organised. Whichever message worked well in that instance.
Whilst traffic is slightly down because of the current Covid-19 crisis, the quality of traffic has significantly improved. Engagement stats are up with a 50% increase in pages per session and bounce rate reduced by 25%. Most importantly, website leads have increased.
“We looked at our digital strategy and found there were too many gaps in our current offering. The team decided the right path was to rebuild a site rather than update the current one. Paul, Think Design, was invited to be part of a tender process.
Encouraged by Paul’s, “everything is possible” approach and the creative spark he brought, as well as the vast body of work that really showcased this, QBASE decided to choose Think for our website development project.
The team at QBASE are very happy with the end result and Think’s dedication and effort to the project was massive. We are now well positioned for the future”
