We’ve been busy helping Manchester based Fresh Start Waste Ltd produce a new services brochure to help with expand their business across the northwest. Working closely with the commercial director, we planned out the content page by page. It was important the the brochure contained all the relevant information in an easy to follow manner, without over facing the reader.
Once this was complete, and we had a rough pagination of around 36 pages, Neil, our in-house illustrator got to work redrawing all of the container and bin types. The decision to do this was based on the current side elevation illustrations that already had, but also because it was logistically impossible to arrange a photoshoot of the containers, skips and wheelie bins.
The opening pages cover the main service offerings and other aspects of the business such as innovation, reliability, technology and so on. These pages required line icons and infographics created for the brochure that allowed to sign post and help the reader understand why Fresh Start Waste are a great waste collection business.
Once completed we proof read and sense checked it to ensure the text was in the same tone of voice, plus all the technical language was consistent. Small things but important details that really make a design sing. The brochure itself was then printed onto 100% recycled paper, and we press passed it at Galloways Print in Poynton to ensure the colours were consistent to the brand.
Over all, the client was thrilled and it was a real step forward in their whole visual identity.
