As a global construction business, Balfour Beatty has multiple disciplines, one of which is the ability to construct railways. At this moment they are one of the contractors fulfilling the Crossrail project in London. It comes as no surprise that they have all the relevant plant or equipment to be able to do this type of work.
In May, we were tasked with redesigning various plant hire brochures for Balfour Beatty. A project that lasted 4 weeks, the main job was to create a design within the corporate style of Balfour Beatty that was easy to read, clear to navigate through the various services, and also make the technical information clear and concise.
Once we had a design approved, the first design task was to create an overview brochure of all of their services, totalling 68 pages. This was to be a PDF that could be downloaded or emailed.
From this we had to create an additional 5 service specific brochures using the content created for the main overview brochure. These were to be created to meet a deadline of only a matter of days from approval of the main brochure, in time for an industry event. In total we created 157 brochure pages for Balfour Beatty.
